Have you been inspired, influenced or supported by someone from Edinburgh Medical School?
The year 2026 marks 300 years of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Edinburgh and the team there is busy planning a year-long programme of events and activities. As part of this, they are looking for staff and students to nominate Edinburgh Medical School people who have made an impact in their lives.

Julie Contreras, Programme Manager said:
“We would love you to nominate someone you think has made (or continues to make) a significant contribution to Edinburgh Medical School.
“This person can be a current or former colleague, a student, graduate, partner, supporter or patient. Your nomination could be included in a collection of 300 faces who represent who we are, where we’ve come from, and where we are going.
“As a College community that works collaboratively across disciplines, we are inviting all University staff and students to get involved and help us gather a really representative and inspiring selection of 300 faces.”
Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 4 July.
