Una Europa 2024 Seed Funding results
Edinburgh academics are involved in five out of the 12 successful projects funded as part of Una Europa’s 2024 seed call focused on early career researchers. Edinburgh academics will work on joint research with Una Europa partners on topics related to One Health, Data Science and AI, and Cultural Heritage, until December 2025.
Una Europa Starter/Consolidator Funds with Freie Universität Berlin (FUB)
Edinburgh academics and professional staff working with FUB colleagues can access funding for joint collaborative projects to support cooperation in teaching, research and administration. The funding will be allocated and managed by the FU Berlin lead, but Edinburgh applicants will be able to use the funding to cover related costs, such as travel and accommodation expenses. Applications are open on an ongoing basis.
Start Science Symposium in Krakow
Hear from Edinburgh academics and postgraduates that took part in the 2025 Una Europa StartScience and Symposium on Future Materials & Technologies. Researchers in Physics, Chemistry and Engineering from across Europe gathered to collaborate on a series of workshops and joint research initiatives to bridge the gap between science and society.
