Prescribe Culture Gatherings

Reading time: < 1 minute

Enjoy the wellbeing benefits of the diversity of Edinburgh’s free heritage and culture, in the company of others.

Prescribe Culture Gatherings have one purpose – to support mental wellbeing and increase the sense of connectedness by providing opportunities for people to come together, meet new friends and socialise, all with culture and coffee!

All the gatherings consist of a cultural activity that is free or low cost, combined with the opportunity for coffee and chat at a local café.

The activities are also open to the general public so if you enjoy an experience or visit as part of a gathering, you can head along to the same spaces and venues in your own time.

All Prescribe Culture members are very welcome to bring along a friend. The gatherings are supported by a host who ensures everyone feels welcome and there is a relaxed and informal way of introducing all those who attend.

Registration is always open – simply email PrescribeCulture@ed.ac.uk to be added to the invite list.
