All staff are asked to update their computer to Windows 11 before 31 January 2025.
This applies to all University-owned laptops and desktop devices that run the Windows operating system.
Please take action to upgrade at your convenience as this will ensure your computer is kept secure. From 1 February, staff who have not already upgraded will be scheduled for an automatic upgrade of their device. This means you won’t be able to choose the time that suits you so it may result in unplanned disruption to your work.
You can run the upgrade at home or on-campus.
