Introducing the PA/EA Network

Reading time: < 1 minute
On Wednesday 17 April, a new networking initiative specifically for all Personal Assistants (PAs) and Executive Assistants (EAs) was launched at 50 George Square.

The network was set up by Melissa Hameed, Executive Assistant to both Lucy Evans, Deputy Secretary Students, and Andy Shanks, Director of Student Wellbeing.

It aims to bring together colleagues who often collaborate but haven’t had a chance to meet face-to-face. It also extends a warm welcome to those who don’t necessarily work together on a regular basis.

The key idea behind this network is fostering connections, promoting the sharing of knowledge, skills and tips. Another perk is access to a dedicated Teams channel, complete with an ever-expanding contact list of all PAs and EAs from across the institution.

The PA/EA Network plans to meet quarterly, so if you’re a PA or EA across the University and would like to join, please contact Melissa:
