1. Pay Grade Scale changes

The changes to the University Pay Grade Scale were implemented on 1 April. Staff impacted by the change at implementation have now been placed on their new salary and any difference will be reflected in their take-home pay on the 26 April payday.

Please refer to the SharePoint site if you need further information on the impact of these changes and what they mean for you. You will find a video presentation, a Grade Scale change calculator, a new mapping guide, supporting FAQs and the new Grade Scale structure.

Guided by the feedback received from the wider University community, as well as the recommendations from the People and Money external review that were shared in December, a two-year roadmap for improvements has been developed.
