Join the University Court

Nominations have opened for a professional services staff member to be elected to join the University’s governing body, the University Court.

The University Court is responsible for approving the mission and strategic vision of the University and its major priorities, safeguarding the University’s reputation and values, and taking the final decision on matters of fundamental concern to the University.

Nominations are open for any professional services staff member who was on the University payroll on 29 February 2024. Nominees require five or more individuals from the electorate to support their nomination.

The deadline for submitting nominations is noon on Wednesday 3 April 2024.

The election will be held by online voting between Thursday 2 May and Wednesday 8 May, with the successful candidate taking office on Thursday 1 August 2024. The successful candidate will also become an ex officio member of the Senate to help maintain links between the University Court and Senate.
