Recruitment changes at Generation Scotland

Reading time: < 1 minute

Generation Scotland, a research study looking at the health and wellbeing of volunteers and their families, is changing the way 12-15-year-olds take part.

The project is now the first longitudinal study in the UK to welcome this age group to join remotely online without their parent or guardian needing to join first. This ensures young people have more ownership over their own health decisions, which in turn will hopefully help scientists and researchers to learn and improve young people’s mental health.

Generation Scotland is looking for more people to join. Anyone staying in Scotland over the age of 12 years (with no upper age limit) is welcome – families, individuals and those with or without existing health conditions.
