This programme provides meaningful paid work experience for students at the University. The feedback from hiring managers is consistently incredibly positive. You can host an intern for 8 to 12 weeks, on a part-time or full-time basis, perhaps to complete a project that may be on hold, open up your team to new skills, energy and ideas, or get a student perspective on a project. Any team and School can participate, and the aim is to build a diverse range of paid internships across campus.

Employ.ed on Campus is a structured summer internship programme for second, third and penultimate year undergraduate students. The Careers Service provides a programme of support, bringing participants together for induction, interim and end of placement events, and supports their employability development and self-reflection through an Edinburgh Award.

On the Careers Service website you will find intern case studies which will give you an idea of previous intern experiences: Intern case studies
