Day one (Tuesday 14 June) will be an in-person event in McEwan Hall. The day will include keynote presentations from Dr Catherine Bovill, Senior Lecturer in Student Engagement (University of Edinburgh), Tara Gold (EUSA Vice President Education 21/22) and Ellen MacRae (EUSA President 20-22). The day will also include panel discussions, workshops, poster presentations, exhibitor stands, and a drinks reception. Keynote talks and panel sessions hosted in McEwan Hall will be live-streamed for online delegates.
Days two and three (Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 June) will be online events, and will begin with a keynote talk by Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). These shorter days will include paper presentations, panel discussions, workshops, short talks and storytelling based on the following nine key conference themes:
- Building community
- Teaching data skills, data ethics and AI
- Sustainability
- Interdisciplinary teaching
- Hybridity reimagined: Teaching experientially in outdoor, indoor and
online places - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Challenging accepted ways of thinking
- Student-Staff co-creation curriculum work
- Engaging employers, community, and alumni
To attend the conference, there are two registration options:
- An in-person ticket: Delegates attend McEwan Hall in-person on Day one, and attend Day two and three online (500 spaces).
- An online ticket: Delegates attend Day one, two and three online. Keynote talks and panel sessions hosted in McEwan Hall on Day one will be live-streamed for delegates who register for this option (1000 spaces).
