Lucy Evans has been appointed as the University’s Deputy Secretary, Students, following a rigorous and competitive external recruitment process.
Lucy will join the University having spent the past eleven years at the University of Surrey, the last three of which as their Chief Student Officer, covering all aspects of academic administration and student support and driving forward a number of strategic initiatives and projects focused on enhancing the student experience.
She will take up her position in the University Secretary’s Group on 13 June 2022.
The Deputy Secretary, Students, plays a vital role in leading and influencing change across the University to enhance the student experience; leading a range of student-focused services within the University’s Secretary’s Group; and acting as a Deputy to the University Secretary.
