It is InfoSec Awareness week – a five-day virtual event with talks and interviews from across the University covering a range of important topics.
Information security is especially important this year. The recent changes to how we work, greater threats to Higher Education from hacking groups, and an increase in scam messages making their way across email and social media, mean everyone could do more to ensure we stay safe online.
Subjects include:
- Ethics in security and data privacy
- CISO Simulation
- Hacking Humans
- Catch the Phish
- LastPass
- Security, Cost and Convenience
- Digital Safety and Citizenship
InfoSec Awareness Week runs Monday 4 to Friday 8 October 2021 and for the first time this year, recorded sessions will also be available on demand.
More than 200 people have already signed up to participate. Review the full schedule and session information and book your place, on the InfoSec Awareness Week page.
