Edinburgh First phased reopening of meeting spaces

Reading time: 2 minutes
As Scotland is now in level 0, Edinburgh First, the University’s hospitality and events team, has begun the phased reopening of University venues across the estate.

In accordance with Scottish Government guidelines, one metre physical distancing is required for indoor business events, which means St Leonard’s Hall has now reopened for meetings hosting 7 to 21 people; this also includes the option to book full catering. Perfect for teams wanting to meet face to face.

The health and safety of the university’s staff and guests is a key priority and has resulted in rigorous Covid-19 safety measures being implemented across the venues to ensure the adherence to strict Covid guidelines. Read more about the Covid-19 safety measures.

For teams seeking to reconnect in person this summer but who also want to include virtual attendees, hybrid meeting technology is available through new high spec audio-visual equipment and 72” LCD screens. The venue is ideally located within the grounds of Pollock Halls offering onsite parking, outdoor space and spectacular views across the City.

Internal bookings benefit from a reduced rate starting from £33 per person and there are various offers available.
