Each fortnight bulletin highlights and celebrates the latest prizes awarded to our fellow staff members. Congratulations to all involved.

Dr Christopher Ness, Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow in the School of Engineering, has been awarded an Early Career Investigator Award from the Royal Society for his work as Administrator of the Rapid Assistance in Modelling the Pandemic (RAMP) Forums, which allowed online reviews of the rapidly expanding literature on Covid-19 modelling.

Professor Minhyong Kim has been appointed as Director of the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS) with effect from September 2021. The ICMS is based in the Bayes Centre and is a joint venture between the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University.
