It was with great sadness that the University learned of the the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
The University has announced that a celebration of his life will be held at a date to be announced.
Having served as Chancellor of the University from 1953 to 2010 and as Chairman of our General Council we know that many staff will have met and worked with His Royal Highness during his tenure.
