Hello to all our colleagues and welcome to the first digital issue of bulletin magazine. Although the current situation means we won’t be printing any paper versions of bulletin in the near future, we feel more than ever that a staff magazine has a role to play in keeping us connected with each other, sharing stories and maintaining our sense of community.
How can you capture the upheaval and uncertainty happening across the globe in a few sentences? We’re not going to try. Everyone has faced their own difficult challenges over the past few weeks, but we at bulletin are keen to showcase the good that has happened too. People are coming together in new and inspiring ways to support and help both their local communities and their work ones. In these strange and unsettling times, it’s easy to feel isolated, especially those who have had a tricky transition to home working, or have had to stop working altogether. With our more frequent weekly issues of bulletin we want to provide a space for our community to interact and support each other.
We want to use this piece of the web to share uplifting stories, interesting features and community tales from anyone who wants to share them with us. So please, send us your pet pictures, send us your daily wins to keep you motivated with work, send us your wackiest lunch concoctions, send us your home workout tips, send us your book recommendations, whatever you like. Let’s keep talking to each other and making sure we’re all ok.
We look forward to hearing from you.
